New Site for Matt Martin Photography
We were honored to have the opportunity to work with Matt Martin out of Oklahoma City to develop his new photography brand and website. It also gave us the opportunity to dig into what Virb has to offer in the way of functionality and customization. We’re really excited to use their platform again in the future!

Foundry Co Launches New Site
Hey All Feels great to be writing from Foundry again to update on how things have been and share some exciting news!  So the very most obvious news is that we just launched our new site! We began this endeavor in the summer of 2011 with the hopes of a fall launch. Although we would’ve loved a quicker launch, heavy workflow, moving, and general admin stuff always gets in the way. We would...

The King Is Dead
If I have learned nothing else from my 5 years at Oklahoma Christian, it is that I absolutely hate advertising. Ironically, the degree I’m pursuing was advertised on OC’s website as graphic design; in reality, it is advertising design. And, it will say so on my diploma in April. Not only do I find advertising distasteful, but the industry is broken. Gone are the days of the Mad Men...

Best/Worst Moment of My Career
So we get this phone call. It’s a friend of ours who works with Lego and he has news. Lego has asked us to do a series of illustrations for a new line of Legos coming out. The “Ninja-go” line to be exact. Of course, I freaked out, as there might not have been a toy I liked more growing up than my precious legos. To say that we were stoked would be an understatement. We were...

Wishing Well Exhibition Booth and Site Launch
Been working with Wishing Well: Water for the World, a local OKC non profit to help get them ready for some big things this year. Radio Silence
So we wanted to update you on things around Foundry Co. We know we’ve been rather quiet on the radio waves as of the past 30 days. One of my favorite authors, Haruki Murakami wrote in his biography that there are times of hard work and there are times of rest and celebration. Right now we are working on just over a dozen new campaigns that are all set to release in the next 30 to 60...

Tweaked our office and put up a sign
Scott and I got together (along with some close friends’ help) and redesigned/rearranged our space. We also got so me old pieces of metal from Matt Parsons and hand painted our logo and hung a new sign out front. Wish I had something more exciting to say about it all but that’s really the long and short of it. Enjoy, a few more posts to come this week...

Work Hard. Design Good.
I’ve recently had the privilege to return to the trenches and teach graphic design at my alma mater. This past Monday was the final critique of my students’ first project and I took a couple of my design buddies, my biz-partner Paul Wilkes and Tim Krause, to help me grade their final presentations. Afterwards, Tim and I went and got a burger and began discussing design,...

Couple of New Brands by Foundry
Hey there, I thought I’d just show a little update of what we’ve been up to lately. We have quite a few big projects wrapping up lately like Josh McCullock, Gibson Events, and Sherree Chamberlain, but I wanted to show you some of the smaller things that have been in and out of the doors of Foundry lately.  First up, we updated the branding of long-time client Matt Parsons.
